The interface for painting is similar to most digital painting programs IвЂ™ve used which decreased the learning curve for me a little. IвЂ™ve been using 3D Coat to do my 3D texturing more recently because I find it intuitive to use and the UV mapping and baking features are easy to use as well.

The first software I used whilst learning how to UV map and texture 3D models was Blender 2.79. Painting in real-time on 3D models is a lot of fun to do, it is a nice reward once you have finished all the other things you have to do in the creation of a 3D model.
